This is by far one of our favorite “Best of…” lists. The quality of headphones on this list are amazing. While gym training can be intense, it is often less harsh on your workout headphones, which is a very good thing. These workout headphones are not on durable, but some of the best sound quality headphones you’re going to find, without showing up to the gym with a large pair of audiophile cans.

Gym Criteria
- Noise Cancelling. This is one feature we placed a lot of emphasis on. While having a decent pair of noise cancelling sports headphones can be a hazard if you’re running outside (especially near busy traffic), not having noise cancelling headphones in a gym can be just as hazardous. Let’s be honest, the last thing you want to hear at your workout is that horrible pop song playing over the loud speakers or that annoying person next to you on the treadmill that just won’t stop telling your their life story.

Number 1 –Monster iSport Immersion In-Ear Headphones
Since late 2010, when Monster released their first sport headphones, the Monster iSport have steadily climbed to the top. There isn’t really anything bad to say about the Monster iSports. Monster has labeled them the “Athlete’s Headphones” and that is no exaggeration. On top of all that, they look sharp in blue or black.
Number 2 –Shure SE115-K Sound Isolating Earphones
While the Shure SE115 doesn’t have all the features of the Monster iSport, what they lack in features they make up for in sound quality and sound isolation. Shure is well known for its extremely high quality sound and their patented sound isolating sleeves. These may be your new best friend at the gym.
Number 3 – Klipsch Image S4
We know it’s been a couple years since the Klipsch Image S4 Headphones have been released, but they still stand strong as some of the best gym headphones available. And while we didn’t consider price in our determination of the Best Gym Headphones of 2011, it doesn’t hurt that you can find the Klipsch S4 on Amazon for extremely cheap in comparison to what these headphones are worth.
