Koss Portable Sports HeadphonesKoss has done it again with their KSC75 Portable Sports Headphones.  The KSC 75 are supposed to be an improvement over the KSC50 and KSC35, which were both very popular workout headphones.

Pros

  • Some of the lightest clip on headphones you’ll find
  • Good price
  • Sports clip design allows for large earpads, but maintaining a light weight
  • Perfect size for traveling or packing in your gym bag

Cons

  • When adjusting the headphones the headphone cup sometimes snaps off the sports clip.  This isn’t a problem because it snaps right back on, but it can get annoying.

Full Review

The Koss KSC75 Stereophone Headphones are in line with the Sony Ultra Lightweight MDR-W08L in terms of “bang for you buck.”  These headphones tend to have more of a love/hate relationship with people in terms of looks.  Either you love them the second you see them or you hate them and move on to some other sports headphones.

One other quality we really liked about the Koss KSC75 were their size.  Most of us don’t want to take the time to wrap up our earbuds perfectly after each workout or fold up our headphones and place them in their little storage pouch.  With the Koss KSC75 you don’t have to worry that much because they are so incredibly portable.  You can pretty much toss them in your bag and not worry too much about damaging them as there is no rigid headband or neckband to break.

The sports clip and rotating earpads allow for a great fit, which in turn allow for quality sound.  We don’t know if it’s the “oxygen free copper voice coils” that Koss promotes so highly, but the sound was very crisp.

The Koss KSC75 are so lightweight you can hardly tell you’re wearing them.  It helps out a lot that each earpad is connected to a small plate that can swivel, which allows these headphones to settle into a sweet spot of comfort.
