Pros

Patent Pending Ear Loops.  Zippearz utilizes a brand new ear hook design that allows you to hook the ear loops over your ear during more active times or unhook them and just use the earbuds.

Cons

Ear Hook Connection.  While we didn’t have any problems with the connection, it just doesn’t seem all that strong and is a cause for future concern.

At first glance these headphones may look just like any other clip on workout headphones, but that’s not the case.  Zippearz has added another dimension to the clip on headphone: a detachable and adjustable loop.

If you decide to use the ear loop it clips to the ear bud stem and wraps around your ear.  It’s completely adjustable, so whether you have large or small ears you can bend the loop accordingly.

Unlike most clip on headphones that also loop around the ear, these ear hooks are also removable allowing you to just use them as earbuds if that suits your workout better (i.e. you may be wearing glasses or a helmet that impedes with the ear hook).

Sound quality was average.  The HIs were a little tinny and sharp sounding, but smoothed out a little after some burn in.  It wasn’t bad, but we weren’t that impressed.

The bottom line is whether you’re running in the park or working out at the gym you’ll never have to worry about these falling out.  Check out the video below for a little more information on how the Zippearz fit.
