Our Review
At the very least we recommend all runners have some type of device to monitor performance. If you’re not monitoring you’re performance and trying to improve then you’re never going to hit your goals, whether they be performance goals or weight loss goals.
What exactly does the Nike + sensor do?
Simply put, it measures performance. It wirelessly transmits data from the sensor to the receiver (your iPod or iPhone). That data can then be found on the Nike website in chart and graph form showing you exactly how you’ve been training for the past month or so. You can check out the site at nikeplus.com
One thing we love about the Nike + sensor is its size. You can get a nice pouch that attaches right to your laces or the tongue of your shoe, or you can just tuck the sensor between the laces and tongue. Either way you’ll never know its there.
Another thing that is great about the Nike + is its cost. It can’t quite do all the things the Motorola MOTOACTV does, but for only $19 to $29, its hard to beat the price.
This device isn’t just for avid runners. Anyone who walks or jogs will also get good use out of this device and likely find it helps them hit their fitness goals that much quicker.
