Sweat Proof for Life.  Jaybird supplies a lifetime warranty against sweat, which is pretty awesome considering this is a main concern of many people who workout and listen to music.

Sound Quality.  Jaybird spent a lot of time getting the sound quality just right.  They fully understand the basic premise of equalizing lo, mid, and high sounds.  Pretty amazing.

Cons

Earpiece cord/strap.  While the Jaybird JF3 are wireless they still have a small cable that connects each earpiece and lays on the back of the the neck.  There have been some complaints of the strap “sticking” if your neck gets sweaty.

According to Jaybird the JF3s were inspired by the “fog light grill of a sports car.”  They matched the sweet looking grill type design with a soft silicone and ear fin technology to really create a great pair of Bluetooth sports headphones.  While the secure fit ear fins aren’t a new technology, they are definitely becoming popular and are one of the reasons Jaybird can easily declare these headphones “shake proof.”

In addition to the great fit and comfort they’ve gone to efforts to reduce the decibel level of the mids, which can be the main cause of headaches while listening to music over extended periods of time.

The Jaybird JF3 are very similar to the Bose IE2 and Sennheiser CX 680 in terms of looks, feel, and fit.  Each of these headphone use a very similar ear fin type cushion to hold the earbuds in place while working out, which works surprisingly well.

Style.  Plenty of colors to choose from.

On Touch Controls.  Controls for music and receiving calls are easier to use than most headphones because of the larger surface area on the headset.

Lifetime Sweat Warranty.  This is one feature that Jaybird has built its workout headphones on.  All Jaybird Sportsbands come with a lifetime warranty against any damage caused by sweat.

USA Triathlon Partner.  With its new partnership with USA Triathlon Jaybird has even more obligation to live up to its word as the “world’s greatest sports headphones.”

Comfort and Fit.  Rotating earpads and adjustable headband allow for a perfect fit.

Cons

Loose Fit when Horizontal.  This is kind of a weird con, but there have been complaints of the fit during activities that require the headphones to become horizontal.  For example, during activities such as situps.

Bulky.  While Jaybird does a great job of making these extremely lightweight – they hardly weigh more than earbuds – they’re still a bit larger than most workout headphones.  This didn’t create any problems during the workout, but you can’t roll them up and toss them in your gym bag like a lot of other sports headphones.

Sports headphones in general have usually taken a back seat to style…until now.  Jaybird doesn’t only place an emphasis on creating some the best Bluetooth sports headsets, but they also make them look good.  As the world begins to adapt and make a large push towards Bluetooth its important to have a pair of headphones that can double as sports headphones and headphones you can wear around while still looking good, and the Jaybird Sportsband does just that.

Say goodbye to wires and say hello to Jaybird.   It was difficult to find much to complain about the Jaybird SB1B Sportsband because they just look so incredible.  They function extremely well as far as Bluetooth connectivity and found you could have your receiving device (i.e. iPhone) around 20 feet away and still hear the music with no problems.

One of the major qualities that Jaybird promotes is their sweatproof aspect of the sportsband.  The SB1B stands up to this test with no difficulty.  Regardless of how much you sweat you’re not going to have a problem with these workout headphones.

Sound Quality

Good sports headphones must sound great.  Why?  Because music is our driving force in a lot of our workouts.  The Jaybird Sportsband will not let you down in this department.

Comfort and Fit

The fit is very solid, and with the adjustable sportsband they won’t be flopping around on your head.  In addition, the ability to rotate the earpads adds another level of comfort that most headphones don’t offer.
